ASA/UKCC Level 1 Coaching Swimming - e-learning (Units 1 & 2)
If you are interested in supporting the coaching programme in a competitive swimming environment, this certificate is suitable for you. Achievement of this certificate will qualify you to operate as a support coach. It will provide you with the generic "how to coach" skills common to all disciplines together with specific focus on swimming coaching, technical knowledge and practical skills that will allow you to actively support a more senior qualified /licensed swimming coach at any level in the delivery of a pre-prepared session. You will be expected to have an understanding of the sport and a basic understanding of appropriate corrections to common faults.
