The Humber Sports Partnership Coach Education Programme
Coaches across Britain contribute daily to the success of sport from grass roots participation to the very top of international competition. A great coach like a great teacher inspires, motivates and leads. They have a range of skills and knowledge which is called upon daily to make the experience of coaching special.
As a coach you know how important it is keep your skills sharp, you know that the basic technical knowledge associated with specific sports needs to be supplemented with a range of supporting skills. This extensive programme has been developed following consultation with our partners from the Local Authorities, National Governing Bodies, Federation of Disability Sports Organisation, Sports Coach UK, Running Sport and Coachwise. Please take your time to look through each of the development opportunities on offer on the website.
The generic courses available range from Safeguarding & Protecting Children to Equity in your Coaching and Coaching Disabled Performers to First Aid. Also on offer are a wide variety of Disability courses and a selection of National Governing Body courses . Each course will be delivered by high quality coach tutors, in good learning environments, at a reasonable cost.
